Privacy Policy

We believe privacy is a right, not a feature. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we don’t do.

What we collect

We collect your email address, name, and the project data you create in relay — issues, comments, and integrations you configure. We do not collect payment information directly (handled by our payment processor when billing launches).

How we use it

Your data is used exclusively to provide the relay service. We use it to display your projects, sync with GitHub and Figma integrations you authorize, and generate your weekly digest. We do not use your project data to train AI models.

AI and your data

relay’s AI digest feature uses a rule-based engine that runs on our servers. Your issue data is queried directly from our database — it is not sent to external AI services. If we introduce optional language model features in the future, they will require explicit opt-in.

Third-party integrations

When you connect GitHub or Figma, we store access tokens encrypted in our database. We only request the minimum scopes required. You can revoke access at any time from your settings page or from the respective platform.

Data storage

relay uses Supabase for data storage, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is stored in the region closest to your team. We implement row-level security so your data is only accessible to authenticated members of your organization.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days. You can export your data at any time by contacting us at hello@relaylab.io.

Cookies

relay uses essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session management) and your theme preference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Contact

For privacy questions or data requests, contact us at hello@relaylab.io. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
